1 Rifles Girls Afghan-athon Challenge

From Beachley Barracks to Camp Bastion... and back!

When 1 Rifles deployed to Afghanistan in May this year, forty determined 1 Rifles wives took up the challenge to get fit and cover the equivalent distance to Afghanistan and back (10,270miles!) to raise money for the 1 Rifles Swift and Bold Appeal. After months of hard work the girls are fitter and more positive than ever with 8237.5 miles completed and over £700 raised. Just under seven weeks of the tour remain and the girls will no doubt achieve the distance, help them achieve their fundraising target of over £1,500 by clicking on the link and making a donation.
