First Place for Swift and Bold Raft Team

A Swift and Bold 1 Rifles wives team took part in this weekend's Monmouth Raft Race launching a unique army themed craft into the low and treacherous waters of the River Wye. From Monmouth to Whitebrook the wives paddled hard encountering everything from mill pond waters to unpredictable rapids, surprising boulders and ambushes from fellow raft teams. Suffering a man down half way through the race the team lived up to its name, knuckled down and paddled its way to victory as the First Ladies Team! SWIFT AND BOLD!
